It’s Hard to Pronounce, LLC · Last updated September 2026

Qualendar exists to help you find meeting times without exposing your private life. Other people can see when you are available — never what your events are called, who else is in them, or which of your email addresses or calendars they come from. Your connected email addresses are private to you.

Qualendar is operated by It’s Hard to Pronounce, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at hello@qualendar.ai.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details. You may optionally add a display name.

Connected calendars. When you connect Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or an Apple iCloud calendar, we receive access to read event timing information so we can compute your availability. We store the minimum data needed: event start and end times, free/busy status, and basic calendar metadata.

Contacts and meetings. We store the contacts you add, the meetings you coordinate, and the invitations you send so the product can function across your devices.

Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and billing email, but never your full card details.

Usage data. We collect basic usage and error information to keep the service working and improve it.

When someone checks your availability, they see free and busy time only. They do not see event titles, event descriptions, attendee lists, locations, or the individual calendars or email addresses behind your availability. They also never see which email address of yours they matched against — only your name.

We use your information to calculate availability across your connected calendars, coordinate meetings with the people you choose, deliver invitations, manage your subscription, secure your account, and support you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your calendar contents for advertising.

Availability shared with other Qualendar users is limited to what you would see yourself: free and busy time. We share data with service providers that help us operate the product — cloud hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and the calendar platforms you connect (Google, Microsoft, Apple) strictly to the extent needed to sync your calendars. We may disclose information when required by law.

You can disconnect any calendar at any time, which stops access to it. You can delete your account from your profile settings, which removes your account data, connected calendars, contacts, and meetings. Some records may be retained for legal, billing, or security purposes for as long as required.

We protect your data in transit and at rest, restrict access to people who need it to run the service, and use the platform’s authentication and row-level access controls so your data is only ever served to you — and only what you deliberately share with others.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@qualendar.ai.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect.
